Big Number Calculator

Add, subtract, or multiply integers of any size — even numbers with 100+ digits — using exact arithmetic.

Calculate with Big Numbers
Enter any two integers (positive or negative)

About Big Number Arithmetic

Standard floating-point numbers (like JavaScript's Number type) can only represent integers exactly up to 2^53 − 1 (about 9 quadrillion). Beyond that, precision is lost. BigInt is a JavaScript built-in that supports arbitrary-precision integers, allowing exact computation with numbers of any size.

Applications of Big Number Math

Big number arithmetic is essential in cryptography (RSA keys use 1024–4096 bit numbers), number theory (prime factorization, modular arithmetic), competitive programming, and any domain requiring exact integer results beyond the range of standard types. Factorials, Fibonacci numbers, and combinatorial coefficients can easily exceed standard integer limits.

Limitations

This calculator supports addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Division of big integers is not included because it may produce non-integer results that require arbitrary-precision decimals (different from BigInt). For very large multiplications (thousands of digits), computation may take a moment. Negative numbers are fully supported.
