Playback Speed Calculator
Find how long a video, podcast, or lecture takes at a different speed. Speeds below 1× take longer.
Enter a duration and select a speed to calculate.
How does playback speed change duration?
Divide the original duration by the speed multiplier. For example, 90 minutes at 1.5× takes 60 minutes and saves 30 minutes; at 0.75×, it takes 120 minutes, adding 30 minutes. Fractions of a minute are supported and the display rounds to whole seconds.
