About the Time Zone Calculator
This time zone converter uses the browser's built-in Intl.DateTimeFormat API to accurately convert times across all major world time zones, including automatic adjustment for daylight saving time (DST). Simply select a date, time, and your source time zone, and the calculator will display the equivalent local time in every other zone. Once you know what time a meeting starts in your location, you can use the Hours Calculator to figure out how many hours until it begins.
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the universal reference point — all time zones are expressed as positive or negative offsets from UTC. For example, New York (ET) is UTC−5 in winter and UTC−4 in summer during daylight saving time. Tokyo is always UTC+9.
